Today I spent the day going through a lot of work, old and new, trying to figure out what to add to my portfolio. It was refreshing to go back and take a look at a good chunk of my history as an artist, and I got to dust off a few pieces worth of publication. In that pile of forgotten work I came across this piece that I very much enjoy. This is my friend Colleen and this is how I see her. Yes, she is a gorgeous fairy tale creature who never ceases to show her true colors, even when the weather turns gray and gloomy.
Álvaro is part of the emerging music group I am photographing, and I chose him to be my guinea pig. 😉
All post-production was inspired by the ideas and comments of the band members about the visual aesthetics they want to give to the group. I hope they like my proposal. 🙂
I was going through a bunch of photos I have on my labtop, and I found this panorama I made during my first year at Nesop. I think it is kind of cool. It is a lot of fun making panoramas with funky stuff going on in them. 🙂
I am going to keep looking through my old photographs and hopefully I’ll come across more nice forgotten ones.

These images are part of phase-number-one of The Colleen Project, as I am calling it since it was because of Colleen that I started it. I don’t really know how many phases there will be, but this project, if successful, will be part of a series of images born from itself, which means that it is thought to be the beginning of a bigger project, and every big idea morphs and evolves as the artist solves the problems she encounters.
It took me a little more than 2 weeks to come to a comfortable place with these images, and now I believe I can move on to the next phase. This is why I am posting them, and because the finished result is so far from what you can see right now, Colleen and the rest of the world are going to see these photographs for the first time at the same time (I hope you are OK with this, Colleen (These are far from finished. I promise.). ).
Just playing around with my face. 😛 It looks very “sketch like”, but I had fun working on it. 🙂
I really had to take advantage of the unique looks of the beautiful and lovely Amy.We had a blast with this photo shoot.
From sexy diva to wild child here it is Amy in the hands of Cati; another victim in the name of Art and Fashion.
Alex rocking some powerful colors! Love the vibrancy of this shot. 🙂
More of this gorgeous diva to come! 🙂
Told you there where more to come! More textures with a humorous twist.
Careful when falling for Fashion. Don’t hurt yourself. 😉
This is my first attempt to integrate graphics/texture in my portfolio pieces, and I am loving it. Expect more to come!
It is said that not everyone looks their best in yellow. Well, this diva is rocking it in front of it!
