Day 4 in Berlin

On our forth day we kept walking around the city (of course ) and went to the Tiergarten and to the Reichstag to just enjoy the view. We got to take some beautiful and fun photos, and later we met with an old friend who we hadn’t seen since high school. Being a local, he took the role of tour guide for the rest of the day, which was amazing because we got to eat some great local comfort food and he showed us some more places we hadn’t visited yet.

We went looking for the famous mural of “The Kiss” that’s on the long part of what’s left of the wall because we had to have a photo with it! And after a great lunch and a long conversation we visited Schloss Charlottenburg, took some more beautiful photos, and finished the night with red wine and another long conversation.

It is very curious how life works: 3 Kolumbianer meeting again in Berlin, Germany after almost 10 years. We had an amazing time.

Day 1 in Berlin

We arrived in Berlin in the early evening and it was cold and snowing. We decided to go for a stroll close to where we were staying at and where the Film Fest was being held. After walking for a while we had dinner. Without thinking it twice we looked for a shawarma place and ordered Döners to end the night with a gold seal! Here are some photos of our little adventure in the snow from the H0tel to Potsdamer Platz and the Sony Center, and of a Döner! These places are definitely worth seeing at night. The lighting is pretty cool!

Road’s End Farm

Last weekend I had the opportunity to escape the city and enjoy nature. Road’s End Farm is a place full of wonderful memories for some, and I got to see why by experiencing a fraction of what people can actually do there.

This place offers summer camps for girls interested in riding horses, hiking, swimming and much more.

These photographs were taken during the winter. That’s why they’re a bit gloomy, and the horses are on vacation resting and waiting for the summer and the girls. Imagine how beautifully green this place will be in summer time.

I wanted to share the photographs, and even though the farm doesn’t look at its best, I still think it is a beautiful place waiting to be discovered and appreciated.

Tiny iPhone Planets

Hi everyone,

So, as you can see, I haven’t been doing much work lately. I actually have been getting my life together (and enjoying it) these days. That includes getting married!!! Yay! Working a full time job, paying off student loans (not so “yay”) and so on… But I have been doing some fun stuff with my iPhone, and since that’s all I have for now I would like to share it. 🙂 Here are some Tiny Planets. They are low quality and very easy to make, but they look cool! Thank you iPhone and your fun apps!

Everywhere Álvaro

I was going through a bunch of photos I have on my labtop, and I found this panorama I made during my first year at Nesop. I think it is kind of cool. It is a lot of fun making panoramas with funky stuff going on in them. 🙂

I am going to keep looking through my old photographs and hopefully I’ll come across more nice forgotten ones.

Kitty Cat Cati

Just playing around with my face. 😛 It looks very “sketch like”, but I had fun working on it. 🙂
